Pićan 30.-31.07.Pićan is a small Istrian medieval town, placed around 30 kilometers from Rabac. These days its streets are filled with an atmosphere which seems to be out of this world, decorated with traditional Istrian fabrics, while various characters, such as fairies, bishops, pirates and giants are walking through the streets, uncovering the world of fairy tales, myths and legends taking place in Istria's forests and hills. Legendfest is perfect opportunity for these stories to be told in one place, so many theatre groups are coming to participate and filling every little corner of the town with their performers. They are even organising workshops through the day, which is very popular among the kids, since they can be part of the performance afterwards. That way they're having fun and learning something new about Istria and its culture, which is, besides the revival of Pićan and its legend, the aim of this festival. The main theme of this year's festival are Celts in Istria.
